Next, put the grates in a garbage bag and seal it off tightly so that no oxygen and water get into the bag during this time period (about 2 days).
After about two days have passed, take all of the items out of the garbage bag and rinse off the grill grates with hot water, dish soap, and a scrubbing pad until they shine like new again!
